HEALTHCARE CREATOR ACADEMY

I entered the healthcare field over 18 years ago as a mental health therapist. In 2015 I wanted to do something more to help people. I was happy to have a full caseload in my private practice, but I wanted to help more people and make a bigger impact.

My undergrad is in radio and TV production, so I decided to turn my desire to help people and my love for broadcasting into something bigger.

I started a podcast in 2015, created courses, designed websites (like this one), daily live-streaming, launched a YouTube channel, and provided coaching - all while I had a full-time job in healthcare.

Looking back, I wish I was able to learn from someone who had done all of that before. Someone who could provide insight into what works and what doesn’t, steer me away from expensive online courses, gurus, and coaches promising the moon, and actually help me create content as a healthcare creator that not only helped others but also provided the potential for extra income.

I didn’t have anyone to help me, hold me accountable for creating, or encourage me when I got discouraged and wanted to quit. I had to do it all alone.

I made a ton of mistakes (which is how I learn the best) and spent a ton of money over the years figuring out how to make it all work.

I’m still learning, but I have discovered a lot along the way as a healthcare creator.

Why I started Healthcare Creator Academy

I know there are other healthcare professionals who want to do something bigger too. And, I know how hard it is to figure out how to start.

I want to provide the kind of help and guidance that I wish I had when I first started out as a healthcare creator.

Healthcare Creator Academy is a cohort of other healthcare professionals who want to create content, who want to share their knowledge and expertise with the world, and earn a little extra income as well.

What is Healthcare Creator Academy?

Healthcare Creator Academy is a cohort that meets once a week for four weeks. The cohort will have up to 20 healthcare professionals who want to create content (course, book, podcast, YouTube channel, Reels or Shorts, website, etc.).

Healthcare Creator Academy is not a course or a webinar. It is an hour live with me and the cohort. This will be a time to ask questions and learn a particular skill, and it will be a source of accountability. Once the program ends you’ll have the opportunity to stay connected with your cohort.

• We will meet once a week, for one hour, for one month.

• The cohorts will be on Google Meet.

• Maximum of 20 healthcare professionals per cohort.

• You will have an opportunity to sign up for 1:1 coaching with John after the cohort ends.
